Tilers – Job Details
Job Description
You will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating works across refurbishment and maintenance projects, delivering high-quality finishes to residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and making good prior to decoration
- Applying paint, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
- Ensuring all decorating work meets quality standards, specifications, and project requirements
- Working efficiently to meet tight project timescales and deadlines
- Maintaining full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Using appropriate PPE and keeping work areas clean, tidy, and well organised to minimise risk
Skills & Attributes
- Strong painting and decorating skills with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work within fast-paced refurbishment programmes
- High level of safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator
Rates & Working Hours
Rates will be discussed following application and are based on experience and quality of work. All roles are full-time, based across the West Midlands, working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with overtime available when required.
Additional Requirements
All workers must hold the appropriate CSCS card, along with Working at Height, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and Face Fit certification where applicable (Face Fit testing can be provided if required).
