Fascia and Soffit Boards


Fascia and soffits form the protective trim around the edge of your roof:


  • Fascia Boards: Vertical boards fixed to the lower ends of roof trusses. They support the bottom row of tiles and carry the weight of the guttering system.
  • Soffit Boards: Horizontal boards installed beneath the fascia, bridging the gap between the exterior wall and the roof edge. They improve roof ventilation and prevent pests.
  • Bargeboards: Similar to fascias but used on the sloping gable edges of the roof, providing a clean, finished V-shape.


Fascia Boards come in two main types:
