Finishers – Job Details


Job Description
As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of refurbishment and renovation projects, ensuring properties are finished to a high standard and ready for client handover. The role includes light painting and decorating, minor carpentry, making good, and final cleaning to ensure the property is safe, presentable, and professionally finished.


Key Responsibilities

  • Painting or touching up surfaces to achieve a clean, professional finish
  • Repairing minor defects such as cracks, dents, chips, or surface imperfections
  • Installing finishing elements including skirting boards, trims, architraves, and door furniture
  • Ensuring all surfaces are smooth, clean, and fully prepared for final inspection and handover


Requirements

  • Proven experience in refurbishment or construction finishing works
  • Competence in basic carpentry, plaster patching, painting, and surface preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards


Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Relevant experience in a similar role


Rates & Working Hours
Rates will be discussed following application and are based on experience and quality of work. All roles are full-time, based across the West Midlands, working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with overtime available when required.


Additional Requirements
All workers must hold the appropriate CSCS card, along with Working at Height, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and Face Fit certification where applicable (Face Fit testing can be provided if required).
